School uniforms have to be the grossest form of torture that schools inflict on kids. Do any teachers know how uncomfortable school uniforms are? AND how selfish it is that kids can’t show their own fashion sense freely instead of wearing someone else’s stupid and warped idea of what is fashion! I’m ashamed to wear my uniform anywhere except at school and even at school I feel humiliated-the only thing that makes it acceptable is that every other student has to wear the stupid clothes. Personally, I think I can choose my own clothes and should be trusted to do that. When I was allowed to choose my own clothes to wear to school, I felt a lot better. Now wearing a gross, boring and uninteresting uniform day in and day out, makes me feel like I should change schools. School kids should never have to wear uniforms.

Topic Sentence: School kids should never have to wear uniforms.(From the topic sentence, I can pick out the voice of the narrator which is highly biased towards his opinion, which is negating against school uniforms. This also tells me that the writing will be more subjective than objective.)

Example 1: how selfish it is that kids can’t show their own fashion sense freely instead of wearing someone else’s stupid and warped idea of what is fashion!

Evidence 1: There is no evidence present in this example. The author is only giving his opinion in a question form. The author uses biased/loaded words such as selfish, stupid, warped to sway our view to his perpective to the topic. What is fashion the author is refering to? What gender is this author? How old is the author? What is so wrong with the uniform?

Example 2: I’m ashamed to wear my uniform anywhere except at school and even at school I feel humiliated-the only thing that makes it acceptable is that every other student has to wear the stupid clothes.

Evidence 2: Again, there are no evdience in the example. By the way the author uses phrases such as "I feel, I am, I..." it shows me that he is being very subjective. Where is this school? What kind of school is it? Why does the author feel humiliated by the school uniform? What feature of it makes the author feel that way? Does other students think the same way as the author? Some loaded/biased words are: ashamed, feel humiliated, stupid.

Example 3: When I was allowed to choose my own clothes to wear to school, I felt a lot better. Now wearing a gross, boring and uninteresting uniform day in and day out, makes me feel like I should change schools.

Evidence 3: No evidence is here. The author again tries to sway our view by using biased/loaded vocabulary such as: groos, boring, uninteresting. The author also makes a comparison to the times when he/she was able to wear free clothing. From the statement I picked out that the author is being especially more biased because he has experience going to school in no uniforms. What is the type of school this author goes to? What school did he used to go? How is the uniform groos, boring and uniteresting? Is there another intention in his bias against not having school uniforms other than the fashion? (Cost, fabric, etc.)

Global warming is a real and serious issue our planet faces today. Global warming is a higher temperature change amongst the planet. The rate of warming is increasing. The 20th century's last two decades were the hottest in 400 years and possibly the warmest for several millennia, according to a number of climate studies. And the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports that 11 of the past 12 years are among the dozen warmest since 1850. Glaciers and mountain snows are rapidly melting—for example, Montana's Glacier National Park now has only 27 glaciers, versus 150 in 1910. In the Northern Hemisphere, thaws also come a week earlier in spring and freezes begin a week later.

With bias.

Global warming, or climate change, is an inevitable subject that shows no sign of cooling down, MAINLY caused because of us humans. All those unbiodigradible wastes (styrophome, plastic, etc.) we throw away, ridiculously gigantic cars which fume out millions of particles of gas and the lackage of our knowledge on recycling causes the ozone layer, which blocks out most Sunlight, to leak. In this rate, our planet will be no more in few coming years.
